This diamond eternity ring is made from platinum and set with a combination of old and modern cut diamonds. The design was drawn up by Jethro following discussions with the client. Jethro then created the ring by hand using traditional jewellery making techniques.   The centrepiece of this diamond eternity ring is a very fine marquise-cut diamond weighing 2.15cts. This diamond was salvaged by us from an unfashionable antique brooch which we purchased privately. This beautiful marquise-cut stone is now set between two modern heart-shaped diamonds, each approximately 0.4cts. The shank is set all the way round with baguette-cut diamonds and all are perfectly matched for colour and clarity. This diamond eternity ring was made to the exact finger size of the client, but can be altered by two finger sizes without difficulty.  This simple but clever design ensures the diamonds catch the light from all angles. It is now a much prized addition to the client’s jewellery collection.

Diamond eternity ring set in platinum with 3.25cts of square and rectangular diamonds hand made by Jethro. The diamonds came from a 1930s eternity ring which had become worn beyond use. Jethro re-graded the diamonds by size, before creating a new platinum ring to accommodate them. Re-setting round diamonds that are all the same size is an easy job for a jeweller, but re-setting square stones that vary in size is more difficult and time consuming.
