Creating your ring starts with a cup of tea or coffee, over which we can discuss the type of ring you have in mind. A single-stone? a cluster? a three-stone? or something else altogether.

The setting could be modern or perhaps Victorian style? Made of gold or platinum or a combination? The permutations of style, design, metals and gemstones are endless. (See also Handmade jewellery.)

You will select the gems for your ring so if you want blue sapphires, you will decide what shade of blue they will be.

If you want diamonds, the quality you chose will be reflected in the price.

The cost to make your ring will be determined by you. The gems you select and the time I think it is going to take to create the chosen design will determine the actual cost. All such matters will be discussed during our first meeting and will be confirmed in writing.

If you have diamonds or gemstones in an existing item of jewellery, perhaps granny’s ring or brooch, these can always be incorporated into your new ring. On the other hand you can always trade-in the value of the older piece against the cost of your new ring.
